This is to certify that the undersigned Marine Surveyor did travel to Elephant Bay, Water Island, VI on August 13, 1996 and to Haulover Marine Center, Subbase, St. Thomas on August 13, 1996 in order to survey and report on the condition of the subject vessel. Survey was conducted at the request of Alain Schiller. Purpose of the inspection was for condition and current market evaluation. The survey was conducted while the vessel. was afloat and on the hard. Alain Schiller was in attendance.

This is to certify that the undersigned Marine Surveyor did travel to Krum Bay, St.Thomas, VI on October 18, 1996 and to American yacht Harbor on November 12, 1996, in order to conduct a follow-up survey of "TAIPI II" to determine compliance with Comments & recommendations detailed in HOWE MARINE SURVEYS Report #160810, dated August 16, 1996. This survey was conducted at the request of Alain Schiller.

"TAIPI II", is a 1977, 47', Staysail schooner built by Gacon Camoz, Cannes, France. "TAIPI II" shows Hull Identification Number V12 014600792 and Documentation Number 13065/304F.

THIS SURVEY REPORT IS BASED ON OUR OPINION OF THE FACTS PRESENTED AND DISCOVERED, WITH NO WARRANTY ETHER SPECIFIED ON IMPLIED, LATENT DEFECTS NOT TO BE FOUND WITHOUT OPENING OR REMOVAL OF SHEATHING JOINER WORK, DECK COVERING AND/OR DISASSEMBLY OF MACHINERY, PLUMBING, WIRING, RIGGING O R OTHER PARTS OF THE SUBJECT VESSEL, ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE COVERED BY THIS REPORT..
