1996 SURVEY of Schooner TAIPI


DECK GEAR:
"TAIPI II" is fitted with stainless steel double course bow and stern rails connected with double course vinyl covered upper lifeline and 1x19 stainless Steel wire lower lifeline supported by stainless steel stanchions mounted inboard of the bulwarks along the sheer. A lifeline gate is fitted astern. Navigation lights are mounted on bow and stern rails. A double roller anchor platform is fitted at bow to either side of bowsprit.
Foredeck shows one hawse hole, three bitts, Dorade vent box and opening anchor windlass. The flush amidships deck shows four hatches, three Dorado vent boxes and generator box. Raised cabin shows three opening hatches, two grab rails and companionway hatch. Cockpit shows bench seating to port and starboard with locker beneath port seat. Helm is centered with grab rail and binnacle compass. Lazarette locker is beneath helmsman's seat. A stainless steel bracket for self steering gear and transom access steps is fitted to stern.
